Helping decision makers anticipate and address structural risks to the global Internet through measurements, visualizations and analysis
Curious about what countries are blocking websites and at what volume? When countries block websites, they usually block websites based in the United States. See an interactive visualization here. Click on a country to see whose websites it blocks (outgoing) and who blocks its websites (incoming). View all of our source code here
The internet is central to the lives of most people, but there is little public awareness of the infrastructure that powers the internet. Here at the UC Berkeley’s Internet Atlas Project we work to make that infrastructure better understood: to define its strengths and weaknesses so as to yield actionable insights for a more stable and secure internet, and to expand who has access and can benefit from the upsides of the digital information revolution.
