Helping decision makers anticipate and address structural risks to the global Internet through measurements, visualizations and analysis
The internet is central to the lives of most people, but there is little public awareness of the infrastructure that powers the internet. Here at the UC Berkeley’s Internet Atlas Project we work to make that infrastructure better understood: to define its strengths and weaknesses so as to yield actionable insights for a more stable and secure internet, and to expand who has access and can benefit from the upsides of the digital information revolution.
