As CLTC’s Events and Communications Manager, Rachel Wesen leads and coordinates a wide range of external messaging activities and in-person and online events. She oversees the CLTC and Consortium of Cybersecurity Clinics websites, including accessibility compliance; coordination of all CLTC academic and online publications; and digital and social media. Rachel’s event management duties span logistics, catering and AV needs for convenings of 10-200+, and she is a frequent Master of Ceremonies. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of North Texas and brought five years of prior work experience for several Texas-based organizations before joining the staff of UC Berkeley/CLTC in 2018. Outside of work, Rachel is often found with friends, enjoying the music and art festivals of her chosen home in the San Francisco Bay Area.
