Capacity-building and resilience for critical infrastructure (CI) and communities
The Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity (CLTC) is accepting proposals from members of the public interest cybersecurity community who have ideas that will advance the cybersecurity capacity and resilience of small critical infrastructure at the community level.
This contest is funded by UC Berkeley’s CLTC, on behalf of the Consortium of Cybersecurity Clinics. Individuals, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions within the United States are eligible to submit proposals. Projects can involve but are not limited to: the development of cybersecurity tools, resources, curriculum, and/or research.
Proposals should include:
- Proposal Title
- Abstract (~250 words)
- Proposal body (max. 1,200 words)
- Append a biography for each person who will work on the proposed project
Proposals will be selected based on merit, relevance, and potential impact. The proposal body should include standard elements that describe and justify the proposal, including: description, goals and timeline, relevance to the field of public interest cybersecurity, description of how the award funds will benefit the project, outcomes, and potential impact.
There is $200,000 in award funding available. This may be split across multiple proposals or awarded entirely to one winner.

- Awards are administered in July/August 2024
