CLTC is pleased to announce the first annual Cal Cybersecurity Research Fellowship to be awarded in Fall 2019. This award of up to $15,000 is for students or postdoctoral scholars to pursue cybersecurity research in security-related fields including, but not limited to:
- Blockchain for information security/cybersecurity purposes
- Security in 5G (telecommunications)
- Internet of Things
- Artificial Intelligence
While the award may be used only to support a student or postdoc’s research efforts, the funds are flexible and can be applied to student/postdoc salary, conference registration and travel, etc. If you have a researcher that works in these research areas of interest that you would like to nominate for the fellowship, please submit the following information to cltcgrants@berkeley.edu by September 16, 2019:
- Student/Postdoc’s first and last name
- Title of project that the researcher is working on
- Short (150-250 words) description of the project and the researcher’s contribution
