VIDEOS: CLTC Presentations from the 2016 Cybersecurity for a New America Conference

On March 9, 2016, Betsy Cooper, Executive Director of the UC Berkeley Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity, gave three presentations at a conference in Washington DC focused on “Cybersecurity for a New America,” sponsored by the New America Foundation. Videos for each of the presentations are below.

The panel discussion “Are You Promoting a Brogrammer Culture?” addressed challenges related to expanding the diversity of cybersecurity professionals.

In “Projecting the Future of Cyberspace,” Betsy gave a 10-minute overview of the work of the Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity.

Finally, Betsy moderated a panel addressing the question “How Connected Do We Want Our Things? Securing the Cyber-Physical Convergence.” The panel features Hilary Cain, from Toyota; Matthew Doan, from Booz Allen Hamilton; Josh Corman, from I Am The Cavalry (dot org); Adam Thierer, from George Mason University; and Seth Carmody, from the FDA.
