Cybersecurity Futures 2030 Workshop RSVP Form

RSVP(Required)

The Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity (CLTC) at UC Berkeley would like to invite you to participate in a half-day roundtable discussion organized in partnership with the World Economic Forum’s Centre for Cybersecurity (C4C) and hosted by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) focused on exploring the future of cybersecurity and its implications for industry, government, and civil society. As an esteemed expert in your field, we believe that your insights and perspectives would be valuable additions to our discussions.

The Cybersecurity Futures 2030 Scenarios Workshop will take place on 21 September 2023 from 2:00PM to 4.30PM SGT at the ASEAN-Singapore Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (ASCCE). Please find more information on the project and the event below.

CLTC is an interdisciplinary research institution dedicated to exploring the long-term cybersecurity challenges and opportunities that face governments, organizations, and societies. In partnership with C4C, we are leading a major research initiative, Cybersecurity Futures 2030, a foresight-focused scenario planning exercise designed to inform cybersecurity strategic plans across the globe.

Event Overview

This roundtable discussion is designed to engage approximately 20 participants, including global stakeholders from academia, industry, government, and civil society. Participants will “test drive” cybersecurity scenarios for 2030 and come away with new foresight and insights that are broadly applicable across countries and regions. This roundtable is part of a series of international workshops taking place around the world. The findings from these workshops will be carefully documented, and insights will be synthesized into how cybersecurity may evolve—nationally, regionally, and globally—and the implications for policy and decision making across a wide scope of governments, enterprises, and organizations.

During the roundtable, we will discuss various scenarios that explore the intersection of various important trends and uncertainties in a unique way, offering different insights into the complex and rapidly-evolving cybersecurity landscape. Participants will engage in facilitated discussions and exercises to examine the implications of each scenario and to generate actionable foresight to inform policy and business decisions that are robust against the possibilities that the scenarios present.

Logistics

The event will take place on 21 September 2023, from 2PM to 4.30PM, at the ASEAN-Singapore Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence, located at 251 North Bridge Road, Singapore 179102. This is an in-person only event. Tea and light refreshments will be provided. A detailed agenda and additional materials, including the full scenarios, will be provided to confirmed participants closer to the date of the workshop.

If you are able to participate in this workshop, please let us know as soon as possible by filling out the registration form above. We would appreciate your prompt response as space is limited.
