Franchesca Spektor is a design & bioethics student, currently completing a self-directed undergraduate research thesis through the Interdisciplinary Studies Field program at UC Berkeley. Working through a speculative design lens, her work seeks to interrogate the intersections between assistive technology, the transhumanist vision, and the ethos of efficiency, as these construct visions of the “ideal” working body.
