One-Day Technical Training Workshop Curriculum Planner
As a part of its educational programming, the Center is planning a one-day technical workshop for women and minorities underrepresented in cybersecurity. The workshop is intended to provide a primer of fundamental cybersecurity concepts and terms for individuals hoping to either enter or gain more experience and exposure in the field. The Center is looking for a Curriculum Planner who can work closely with the Executive Director and other involved parties to coordinate the curriculum for the workshop. This includes conducting research and interviews needed to put together teaching materials; outlining the training curriculum; and helping to organize any additional pedagogical tools needed for the workshop. An aptitude for creativity and innovation will be highly valued, as will experience designing animated powerpoint slides. The role is open to UC Berkeley graduate students and could be a summer project.
