Speakers Announced for White House Cybersecurity Commission Meeting on June 21


The Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity will meet Tuesday, June 21, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time at the University of California, Berkeley, at the Chevron Auditorium at the International House, 2299 Piedmont Ave, Berkeley CA 94720. The primary purpose of the meeting is to discuss the opportunities for and challenges to innovation and collaboration to strengthen cybersecurity in the digital economy.  All sessions will be open to the public. The full-day meeting on Tuesday will feature a series of presentations by distinguished researchers and cybersecurity experts, as well as dialogue about privacy, encryption, and other pressing questions. Scheduled to testify are the CEO of Palo Alto Networks, the CSOs of Facebook and Slack, and number top Venture Capitalists. (The agenda can be found below.) This commission will only hold a few public meetings between now and November, so this marks a rare opportunity to hear directly from key decision-makers and learn about cutting-edge research and insights related to the cyber challenge.
